Debathena includes the firefox-wrapper package; if one doesn't use it, you
get a lock file error basically every time you try to start firefox
(though maybe the issue will be solved in Hardy?).
You also still need a version of the firefox extension, since that seems
to be the only way to install the MIT CA automatically.
We've been using both of these in some deployments, but aren't shipping
them by default because of various features we wanted to remove from them
(like renaming Iceweasel to MIT Firefox Athena Edition).
