I actually think on this one we're better off reporting bugs to Debian;
the Debian maintainers who I reported bugs to have been receptive to
moving things from /usr/sbin to /usr/bin that non-root users might want to
run. Getting these things fixed upstream is a better fix and will help us
avoid feeling like we should change the shell defaults back in the future.
