I think that this is wordier than we need, and also emphasizes the wrong
things. I would say more like:
While Ubuntu will continue to provide limited support for Dapper for
another 2 years, we are ending Debathena support for Dapper now because we
believe there are currently no Debathena Dapper installations and
supporting it slows development because all new features need to be
backported to a 3 year old platform.
