I cannot predict when CDBS will be removed from Debian;
but you can keep it forever downstream of course.
I'm keeping https://debathena.mit.edu/packaging/ in my bookmarks
because it's the last online copy of the documentation it seems.

Until the point that cdbs support is announced to be removed in Debian, I believe it is correct for these references to stay.
