I don’t expect that to be a problem with icedtea6-plugin. The only reason it happened with sun-java6-jre is that there are lots of packages with dependencies like openjdk-6-jre | sun-java6-jre | sun-java5-jre, and aptitude doesn’t remove packages that satisfy alternative dependencies even if they are satisfied in more than one way. There are no such alternative dependencies on icedtea6-plugin. Anders
