Hello, thanks for the report.

If you can give us a bit more information on some aspects of this, it
may help us to understand what happened here.  You ssh'd into Linerva,
and ran 'screen'.  The shell in the initial screen window started up
fine.  Then you created a "second screen" -- does this mean you hit
C-a C-c to create a second window in the same screen session? -- and
the shell in that window complained it couldn't read .bashrc.

What else did you do after starting screen?  Was creating the second
window the very next thing you did?  Did you first run some other
program; log out and back in; or wait a few minutes?
