Hi Debathena maintainers,

SIPB Hardware Operations (HWOPS) is surveying the current machines in
the SMR, to determine which servers need to be on UPS power, which
servers don't need UPS power, and which servers can be completely
decommissioned and removed from the rack.

As far as we can tell, NEUTRON-STAR, PACKAGE-FUSION, and HECATONCHEIRES
appear to be the current Debathena machines in the SMR. Our current
understanding is that these machines are not used for online production
services, but rather used for building packages for Debathena, and
therefore would be able to be shut off during a power outage without
causing any serious problems. Correspondingly, we believe that they do
not require UPS power. Could you let us know whether this seems correct?
If this were the case, it would help us limit our power consumption and
reduce the budgetary impact of buying new UPSes.

Thank you,
Cel Skeggs
SIPB HWOPS
