Of course, since Debian follows the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (see in
particular http://www.pathname.com/fhs/pub/fhs-2.3.html#FTN.AEN1058),
perhaps it's best to just report bugs against all such programs that
people actually use (and fix such programs in Athena itself). I replied
