I'd try to tie it to the traditional concept of a private workstation,
because that's much of the reason we think this is what most people
want. Perhaps
"to bring it more in line with the configuration of Debathena cluster
machines, matching the traditional category of a private Athena
workstation."
Also it's a little odd to effectively announce here that Debathena is
now in testing in clusters. Someone should send a separate message
announcing that, but either before or after that message is sent I
think this shorter version is enough for here.

I'd find this list easier to read in bullet form. Some extra emphasis
on the big item -- automatic updates -- might be helpful too.
