Is it possible that you're seeing this error based on what computer
you login from?
If you're running into this problem when logging in from other Debathena
machines (such as the Debathena Beta cluster workstations in W20, 12,
56, and 66), try applying the fix we describe at
<http://web.mit.edu/linerva/www/> under the "Permission denied errors
trying to run dotfiles on login" section.
We'll keep looking to see if anything seems wrong on our end.
