Hi Njeri,
Pharos printers are setup by IS&T for Athena printing, but you don't need
to (and can't) setup your own Pharos printer in order to print from
Debathena.
If you simply want to use the printer for your personal use, it's probably
the easiest to connect your printer to your laptop / computer with a USB
cable. Unfortunately, the Debathena team can't provide support for setting
up a printer in Linux; you can search for one of the many guides on the
Internet for how to set up a printer on Ubuntu.
If you want to set up your printer as a network printer at MIT, you can
follow this guide from IS&T's Knowledge Base:
http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/x/dQCIBQ
Note that you would generally need a wired printer for this to work well.
Again, unfortunately this is also something the Debathena team can't
provide support for. If you have any questions, you can send an email to
IS&T's Service Desk at servicedesk@mit.edu .
Best,
Lizhou
