#564: clean up licensing
-----------------------+----------------------------------
    Reporter: geofft | Owner: jdreed
        Type: defect | Status: closed
Priority: normal | Milestone: Precise Alpha
   Component: -- | Resolution: fixed
    Keywords: | Fixed in version:
Upstream bug: |
-----------------------+----------------------------------

Comment (by adehnert):

 FWIW, [https://sipb.mit.edu/projects/collaboration/ SIPB's (nominal)
license recommendation] is MIT, MIT TLO doesn't actually differentiate
between MIT and BSD, MIT is [https://github.com/blog/1964-license-usage-
on-github-com about 10x more common than BSD 3-clause] on Github, and
[https://choosealicense.com/ Github recommends MIT]. I don't know if it
makes sense to switch back to MIT (X11/Expat) for future development.
