Hey there!
Debathena is a project of SIPB and is volunteer-maintained by students like
you. We do our best to make updates to Debathena to track the current
Ubuntu/Debian version but note that like all volunteer services this is
done on a best-effort basis.
That said, we do have builds currently testing for newer LTS versions of
Ubuntu. They'll hit the official release channels soon once we've finished
testing them and roll a release, but know that we've been working hard on
them!
