Hi Sean,
You are asking a very legitimate question! Debathena is ready for
16.04 LTS, except for the metapackage debathena-cluster. You should
expect debathena-workstation (allows graphical Athena login, with the
suite of usual software) to work. If you're just using your own
workstation, I recommend debathena-standard instead. For dialups,
debathena-login works just fine.
