Hi everyone,
We did a lot of catch up at the hackathon yesterday, and we're please
to report that we have built Debathena for Ubunty Yakkety (16.10) and
Zesty (17.04)! Please take a moment to try out Debathena on those
distros, especially for debathena-login and debathena-login-graphical.
Note that the release is currently in yakkety- and zesty-proposed, so
make sure to adjust your APT source lines as appropriate. Barring any
critical install bugs, we will be migrating them to production later
this week.
In addition, we have fixed the last install bugs on Ubuntu Xenial.
This means that we are very close to declaring Debathena for Xenial as
released! Please also take a moment to try out everything up to
debathena-workstation, especially with xenial-proposed enabled, so
that we can feel better about pushing those fixes to production.
Lastly, some critical packages such as ssh-server-config and machtype
got updated for all distros, and the changes are currently in
proposed. Please test them, especially on Trusty installs, so that we
can feel better about pushing those changes out to the clusters.
