Should I contact this person and find out if she wants to write our
Administrator's guide? I'm serious!

Is there something we need documented that this person might be able
to help with?

Sharon: feel free to forward this around TPS, I wasn't sure where to
send it.

I am sending this e-mail concerning a documentation project
at MIT. I am completing my Master's degree in Technical
Writing at Northeastern University and plan to graduate
in the spring of 1997. I am looking for a software
application at MIT to document that would serve as
a final project for my thesis.

My experience includes documenting applications running
on the IBM mainframe and Windows. If possible, I would
prefer working on applications that run on UNIX or
Windows. The tools that I am familiar with are Windows
6.0, MS Word 5.0 (Macintosh), Framemaker, and Doc-to-
Help 1.6 (for online help).

I would appreciate your assistance in helping me find
a documentation project at MIT. I am able to work
independently and learn software quickly. The documentation
that I produce could also benefit the MIT community or
an independent developer.

Thank you for your consideration and interest.
