FYI,
Yes indeed it is easy to move the files which contain the
database tables to new disks.
Brian installed 2 new disks and a controller. We moved some of the
database table files to the new disks, informed oracle of the change,
and voila we're running the ABS - no changes required to the
application (I believe that this is easier than with dbm?).
All done in less than 1/2 hr and completely painless.
