I think that most of the changes look fine. However, we should add
the following requirements:
although crippled mode is viewed as a short-term emergency mode
with limited functionality, it is unacceptable to require that system
administrators invoke more than one crippled mode server in an
ABS domain to handle all of the slave requests.
Crippled mode should not in any way limit the number of slaves
which can run simultaneously on a single host.
Crippled mode should not limit in any way the number of slaves which can be
concurrently active throughout the ABS domain.
Crippled mode should provide a means to funnel all error messages
and event notifications from all components through a single channel.
Crippled mode must supply the tools and or methods to insert the
data generated during crippled mode into the database once
the database has been recovered.
