The Athena Backup System project is ready to present a high-level design for the
new system. The date for the Forum has not been set yet, but we expect it to be
during the middle of the week of the 22nd of August. I will send another note
out when the day, time & location are settled.
In the meantime, I thought those of you with an interest would like to start
reading the design document. Discussion of the document can happen on the
<athena-backup@mit.edu> list, which is also archived in discuss.
