beta test plan thoughts
vrt: run it for a week
fill up drives on master
pull plug on slave
pull plug on master
then run it for a month without problems (monitoring growth, etc.)
deactivation
test some restores
Test restoring the master in case it gets corrupt. (and to figure out
how
long these restores will take, so we know how often we haveto take
the db down to do a snapshot.
DLT tapes? reuse many times
bwmelans: db partition fills? how badly will we lose. we need to be
able to monitor things like this. what is the disk full threshold

vrt will be out
8/14-8/18 and 8/28 and 8/30-9/6
Diane will be out: starting on 8/18 but she may be working from home
some days between now and then
jweiss is planning to be out: 8/25 and 8/28-9/1
