The old version of http.c counted CR followed by LF as two separate lines.
I fixed this bug. I placed the new http.c in the locker. gen.c in that
directory generates the necessary test case to test parsing CR and LF. You
can modify gen.c to generate different outputs to test the parser or your
proxy.
