At this point you should all have your web proxy code in the
handins/p2 directory. You should not work on any code this week.
Instead, concentrate on writing a good design report.
For those of you that had extensions -- we had a little
problem with the locker filling up earlier today. The locker has
space now, but please don't put your binary executables or object code
into the locker as Athena is reluctant to increase our 6.033
quota. :-/
A few students asked for further extensions. Those wanting
more time can have it at a small penalty provided that you:
STOP CODING UNTIL THE DESIGN REPORT IS DONE.
You can make any changes to the proxy by this next Monday at
9:00 AM. However, you will be deducted 2 points out of 40 possible
points for being late. Each additional day that you are late, we will
deduct an additional 2 points from your total score. Once you have
code in the handins directory, we will consider you as having
submitted your assignment. We will check the locker Tuesday morning.
At this point, the most important thing to work on is the
design report. The report should focus more on the design than the
implementation. You can write about things in your design report that
you did not fully implement in your proxy. In this way, not finishing
the proxy should not hurt your design report. If we find any of you
working on the proxy before finishing your design report, we will not
allow extensions in the future. We will distribute a specific list of
criteria that we will use to grade later in the week.

P.S. Remember to include the number of hours you spent on the proxy in
your README files along with you code. We really do care! This
information helps us improve the lab. The more detailed, the better.
