Hi,
There is a mistake in handout 2 on page 9. We included an outdated
section from last year (Assignment 0). Please ignore section 7 on
assignment 0.
To learn about Makefiles, CVS, GDB, and other tools, visit the 6.033
lab tools page on http://web.mit.edu/6.033/www/lab-tools.html
For the TCP proxy, you do not need intimate knowledge of these tools.
However, you may want to tweak the Makefile for the libasync.a
library. You will find these tools more useful in labs 2 and 3.
