When I dialup from a terminal, I wish to use zephyr (in ttymode) but not
the full list of subscriptions in my .zephyr.subs. The current solution
I am using is the following :
/usr/etc/zwgc -ttymode
zctl cancel
zctl ld ~/.zephyr.subs.ttymode
zinit
The problem with this is that it is slow and does not always work. A
practical solution would be to able to specify an alternate subscription
file when starting up zwgc like :
/usr/etc/zwgc -ttymode -sub ~/.zephyr.subs.ttymode
To make thing more nifty, you can also add that in ttymode, it will look
for the ~/.zephyr.subs.ttymode subscription first and failing that will
use the ~/.zephyr.subs. To make life even more exciting, how about
having two additional variables in zwgc (similiar to 'exposure' and
'fallback') which can holds the default subscription file for each mode
(i.e. X and tty). Well thats my two cents worth. Any comments?
