Actually, 
	1) There is no reason to kill and restart zwgc.
	2) The zinit program (as you have done local-install, the
/etc/athena/zinit program) will do the correct subscriptions; the ones
in the shell script Jay suggested are *not* sufficient. There are both
FILSRV.machine and FILSRV.machine:directory subscriptions, so that
when I attach zephyr I get

Class filsrv Instance orpheus.mit.edu:/u1/zephyr Recipient *
Class filsrv Instance orpheus.mit.edu Recipient *

The current zephyr server has been crashing about once every day or
day and a half, due to some apparent bugs in the new kerberos library.
Our apologies, but it should happen less often now with two servers
running (there had been only one before.)
