We (current and former zephyr developers) have been trying to do that for
years. I've given up hope of ever getting management approval for zephyr
changes or a commitment of the resources needed to make the changes. I was
surprised when I talked to a manager here a few months ago to learn that
there wasn't even agreement that there are problems with the current
implementation.
I'm in DCNS-apps and zephyr is a DCNS-sysdev project, so I wouldn't be
involved even if something were to happen. That leaves one person who has
zephyr development experience.
