There are various ways of using zwgc under emacs which may suffice.
One is to simply run "zwgc -nofork" in an otherwise normal "shell"
buffer. Another is to use Barry's elisp code; a third is to use mine.
The first won't make the zwgc window visible when messages come in,
but it will give a simple list of messages that you can scroll
through.
(Once I get emacs-19 a little more stable, I may play with using a
distinct X window for Zephyr messages.)
On a different note, how fast is InterViews?
