True; which is another advantage of the first one.
These servers are already storing strings, right? SO why not OOB data?
(Actually, I'm not convinced that they should be sending full messagegrams
at all; the local zwgc.desc should determine what format the fields should
take.
I guess what I'm saying is that I see Zephyr as a transport mechanism,
and that all it should be transporting is raw (or slightly cooked)
data.
Ideally, a foreign user would get a pop notification that would show up
as ``Sie haben neuen Post von marc@athena.mit.edu'' --- with the language
provided by the .zwgc.desc, and the pop server merely sending a
<mail-notify> opcode.
