Yeah, "znol -f /dev/tty" is of limited utility. (Actually, "znol username" and "znol -file ~/.anyone" would be the obvious uses to me; if I recall correctly, the program that znol can be traced back to took usernames as arguments, not files.) Of slightly less but related utility: some way to remove a person from the list of those to whose logins you are subscribed.
