We should really address the problem of people sending messages faking
their hostnames. They are doing this by su'ing on the workstation,
and running /bin/hostname to change their name every few messages.
This increases the probability of someone screwing up a workstation,
and is just in general not a nice thing to do.
I don't have any wonderful ideas about how to fix this problem.
Perhaps:
* Add another field that is filled in by the server that contains the
true sending IP address
* Have the server patch the unique ID field, and simply have clients
lose if their hostname is set wrong
