hi. i just grabbed zephyr 2.0.4 off athena-dist. i untar'd it into
/usr/tmp on an athena machine (SPARCstation 4, m11-113-14), and
did:
% setenv CC "gcc"
% ./configure --enable-athena
<lots of stuff>
% make
it eventually failed with stuff about bcopy(), etc. ie. it failed to
link in libucb.
this is especially... upsetting, as this is just about as 'athena'
an environment as one can get. better than the last time i tried,
and it failed more pathetically than anything else i've ever seen
(i kid you not; i got stuff like
AR =
in the generated makefiles. might i suggest you try a more
'vanilla' way of generating your makefiles?)
