I got the server working, what about clients?

I have a zephyr server up and running on my machine at 192.245.52.10. I also have zhm on the same machine pointed to its self, and everything works good on my machine. But, my friend has a machine the I put zhm and the clients on, and when I run zhm there and point it to my machine, bad stuff happens. First, it finds my machine, but zstat says that its looking for a new server. Also, when I run zwgc, it stops for a LONG time, and eventually says
zwgc: Connection timed out while setting location
Also, clients like zlocate can't find users on my machine that are running zwgc.
