I've integrated your Solaris syslogd changes (minus a few debugging
printfs which I didn't think were necessary) into my current
development tree.
On a side note, I'm considering nuking the COMPAT42 code. It seems to
have something to do with using a separate UDP socket for each
different machine you forward syslogs to, rather than a single UDP
socket. I don't really know of any hardware which is likely to
support Zephyr that will break on this.
