Installing zephyr on HP

I'm sorry to disturb you but this is the only address that I know connected
to "zephyr". I'm working in Weizmann institue and I'm interested in zephyr.
I've got sources and doc and I tried to compile them on HP755 O.S 9.01.
I received all kind of syntax errors and I don't know how to manage this.
More than this , I saw that zephyr needs X11R2 or X11R3 and we have only
X11R5 on our system. What can I do to install zephyr ?
