built zwgc, but still crashed on kill client

At your current patch level I was finally able to build zwgc.
However it still crashes if the user accidentally selects quit
from the menu bar, as apposed to clicking inside the window.
At this point zwgc has to be restarted again.
zwgc: X IO error on display ':0.0'--exiting
This comes from your error routine in X_driver.c
Have you seen any quick fix for this problem? I cannot take off the
"Exit" option with MWM_FUNC_CLOSE since you don't use Xm or Xt.
