I believe that there is a way to set zephyr to build using a local
version of compile_et, which should be supplied with the zephyr
sources, under util/et. As I recall (It's been a while since I last
set up a zephyr build tree from scratch) you need to set something in
the site.def or such file in the config directory to make the com_err
suite.
