Greetings All,
I hope this address is still active. I would like to compile zephyr for
use with AIX 3.2.2+ machines and am having loads of fun. I know it is
possible because when I worked at IBM Research (current home of Uncle Ron
Orcutt) we had zephyr and I used it heavily. Now, I'd like to bring the much
needed messaging system here.
Problems I'm having include but are not limited to...
1: AIX's make doesn't like the Makefiles that are generated by imake.
The changing og spaces to tabs doesn't work. Plus, imake doesn't expand some
of it's entries correctly.
2: I saw the RS6000 dir on prep.ai.mit.edu, but it was locked off, does this
mean that some did an RS/6000 version?
3: Am I losing my mind? It seems that every step I take towards getting
zephyr to start is blocked by AIX.
