Due to the collapsed of our Bank All states Trust Bank Plc, and the tragic death of Mr. Melde wills W. who was till the 10th of December 2005, a customer with our Bank (All states Trust Bank Plc).
I wished to have you apply as the Next of Kin to Mr. Melde wills W, in oder to save the money left behind, from being confiscated by the Management of the CBN, NDIC, as un-claimed items.
Mr. Melde wills W. was non-conscript in his dealing with the Bank, and such, left no much details as to who to contact.
All states Trust Bank Plc, is winding up its banking operations and would in the few coming weeks, hand over its Record Nooks, to the CBN, NDIC, and the Federal investigators.
The bank, is now, in the process of paying out claims, as directed by the Government in the wake of the bank's problems.
All states Trust Bank, sadly, was among the 15 Banks that failed to meet or was adjudged to be unattractive in the just concluded Merger and acquisition processes ordered by the Government of Nigeria.
By this disclosure. All states Bank, technically was grouped among the 15 failed Banks and its operational licenses revoked.
Mr. Melde Wills W. unfortunately, from sources, was one of the passengers in the ill-fated Sosoliso Airlines flight 1145 aircraft which crashed on Saturday, the 10th of December 2005, at the Port Harcourt International Airport, killing all the 177 passenger, crew members, among the deeds were 72. young students of the exclusive Loyola Jesuit College Abuja.
As earlier said, Mr. Wills was till his death a strong customer with us and left in his account with us an amount of money in equivalent of Eleven Million Six Hundred Thousand Euro ( 11.6 million Euro).
The Bank’s efforts to linking up with any close relatives of Mr. Wills, has been unsuccessful and a visit to the Local offices of Chevron a united states energy giant and Shell Petroleum Company yielded no good result.
It was in Aviation business, a CHARTERIER of light private Aircraft.
There has been heighten concerns in view of the position of the Bank, and our activity has been under close surveillance for the fear of the trapped depositors funds.
We have been instructed to commence the immediate repayment exercise under the supervision of the Central Bank of Nigeria and Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation.
The therefore, shall exercised their rights to schedule the above referenced account for closure with probity. Even beyond the business agreement we sign at various times with Mr. Wills.
We shall, evoked that Amendment Termination Section of the All State Trust Account Disclosures and Regulations which states, “We may terminate this agreement in whole or in part and / or close account(s) card or service hereunder for any reason accept as may be permitted by law at any time without prior notice”.
The account will close on 3/03/2006, and any remaining funds will be mailed to you in the form of an official cheque on this date.
Responsibility of the Bank:- The Bank will be responsible for making a good faith effect of execute the payment described in this contract.
The payment may be sent by wire, telegraphic, or whatever other transmission method the Bank considers to be responsible.
The payment may transmitted directly to the beneficiary Bank or indirectly through another Bank government agency, or other third party that the Bank considers to be reasonable.
At this time, the account is restricted from all activity. We recommend alternate payment arrangements be made for outstanding items not yet paid as these items will not clear in the account at this time.
Once the account close, any items presented will return as “Account Closed”
Limited Liability:- The Bank will not be liable for any loss or damage due to the failure, delay to express right as the Next of Kin as a consequence to this mail. The Bank will act in good faith and in accordance with be terms stipulated by the Regulatory authority is, the central Bank of Nigeria, (C.B.N). and the Nigerian Deposits.
Insurance Corporation (NDIC). Regardless of the form or Nature of any claim or action, in no event will the Bank be liable for punitive, incidental or consequential damages in event this advise is ignored.
