This has come up before. One approach I'd suggest trying is killing zwgc with a hangup signal (give it a chance to clean up!) and restarting it. My guess is that the server doesn't find out that the previous user's client went away, and continues sending messages until the new user's zwgc grabs the same port number. I could be way off base though...
