Hello,
We are using an AIX port of Zephyr at different IBM sites with different
AFS domains. We are running version 1.2 that allows us to point to one
zephyr host manager (zhm server), which gives us the ability to message
anyone zephyr'd logged on at any of other different domains. However, we
found out that seems the new version (version 2.0.x) of zephyr was revised
to strip off domain names, which is prohibiting the zhm server to determine
where the recipient really is, when that person is not in the same domain
as the sender.
We were wondering if it's possible to add the version 1.2 domain name
capability into version 2 of zephyr, so that we can move to version 2
which has more bells and whistles than 1.2 while being able to message
people at different domains. Any pointers/insights would be greatly
appreciated.
Regards,
Nan Huo
