I agree.  -ttymode shouldn't just make the tty driver the default
output_driver; it should disable the X driver, so that it never tries
to open X.

What were you trying to do?
	Run zwgc on the console.

What's wrong:
	zwgc -ttymode attempts to open X.  I had my display
	set to a machine that was not on the net; this caused
	zwgc to take a long time to start as it attempted to
	connect to the nonexistant X server.

What should have happened:
	-ttymode should prevent zwgc from attempting to use X
