Request for Representation.
This is an official request for representation on my behalf.
I am George Dudu Fernandez a local trader of rough gold & diamonds, precious and semi-precious gemstones. I am interested in your service even though we are yet to clearly get to know each other and I want to believe you are not only qualified but also experienced in the field of business representation. It is logical to believe that you are capable and qualified to provide the legal, representative or escrow services I am requesting. Your acceptance of our request for your services will require the responsibility of representing me, processing of business transactions, collections of payments on behalf of our company from my customers with delinquent accounts in your country.
Most importantly, you will be helping us deal with customers we have given gold and diamonds on trust and they have taken advantage of the fact that they are geographically far from us and that we cannot reach them due to boundary issues and this is not helping the growth of our business. Our request is solely based on our need for your services to initiate a reduction in time, financial security and cost of doing business. Our strategy is to avoid the wait time for international monetary transaction, the loss of funds due to distance which has posed as a major delay and hindrance in business transactions with our customers.
To give you a better understanding of what your responsibilities will be as our representative, it is important that you understand some difficulties we are faced with presently in processing multi-million gold and diamond deals, receiving funds from clients.
Firstly, there have been cases in the past of clients with delinquent payments and we were mostly incapacitated due to international boundaries to exert pressure on such clients or commence litigation in such cases. This normally results in very late payments or no payment at all from customers. Secondly, most payments are drawn in cheques and it takes approximately two months for cheques from other continents to clear with our local banks. These delays mostly result in our late response to orders and we sometimes loose clients to other suppliers. Thirdly, we experience high tariffs and foreign exchange charges as funds will have to be converted by our banks to local currencies as they are cleared with our banks and re converted to foreign currency as we place orders for supplies from our international suppliers.
As you can see, the back and forth process of currency conversion, results in high charges for foreign exchange thereby resulting to increase in cost of doing business.
Your services will be;
1, Provide consultation and advise in cases of clients with delinquent payments.
2, Represent, process our transactions and receive funds on our behalf from our clients. We propose a percentage of the amount received, cleared and delivered on my behalf. I do hope this is acceptable to you. Upon receipt of your acceptance, I will update you on how we may proceed and open negotiation for remuneration accordingly. It is imperative that you respond promptly as we are poised to utilize your services with immediate effect.
