We went house by house in Caricuao listening to the residents of the
hill slum Telares de Palo Grande with Stalin González, Ivlev Silva and
Rafael Veloz. In sectors at Fifth circuit of the Capital District,
former officialists are asking us today, to those making up the Unity
that we should make all the changes that the country needs. On behalf
of Rafael Veloz I went house to house in Carapita with neighbors from
Antímano, eager to win the difficult parish against all odds. We
visited a family of La Vega with our parish leader Vilma Sosa,
injecting optimism to encourage voting and activism. No effort is
enough. On behalf of Rafael Veloz I walked alongside Richard Blanco to
promote our parliamentary ticket at Las Casitas de la Vega. Richard
Blanco predicted, "In every corner of Las Casitas in La Vega hope is
felt. You will defend with me every vote". Then we went towards
Macarao, as every day adding wills so that coveted right may win to
vacate left ignominious power. On behalf of Rafael Veloz I walked
alongside Richard Blanco, Stalin González and Ivlev Silva to promote
our parliamentary ticket at El Guanábano II in Macarao. I visited five
families in Carapita. We need support from further activists, the
parish of Antímano is gigantic and responsiveness is excellent.
Everything was fine during the command swearing at Fifth Circuit of
Capital District, but meanwhile there was political repression in
Charallave at Sixth Cirtcuit of Miranda state.
I continued establishing contacts and leafleting in Bolivar square at
Antímano, Santa Ana Street at Carapita, and San José neighborhood at
Carapita. There are young people who have not enrolled in the
permanent electoral registry because they do not like the regime, and
they argue that opposition neither visits nor offers anything better.
I arrived to Los Paraparos of Vega. Opponents there feel isolated and
we need to support their immediate organization. We accompanied
Richard Blanco and Antímano parish Democratic Unity Roundtable command
in Cross of San José at Carapita. We categorically denied authorship
of violent events in Guzmania. We shared breakfast with neighbors of
Mamera. Despite failures in transport we reached house by house at El
Junquito road. We went through Los Cangilones, Zulia Street,
Independence Street and Paraparos of La Vegas visiting neighbors and
leafleting for the Democratic Unity Roundtable. I walked through all
the Cota 905 and neighboring requested our cooperation to repair the
soccer and basketball court in El Pinar hills. We?ll strive to honor
them successfully. At Cota 905 residents request walks with candidates
rather than house by house or assemblies due to security reasons. I
handed flyers of Rafael Veloz at UD2 and UD3. Many opponents are
fearful, no willingness for activism. Many officialists feel strongh.
Force Caricuao! Rafael Veloz concludes: "The fear is noted from
government tickets at the approach of a democratic majority which will
demand accountability from all levels within the Parliament because it
will be autonomous and sovereign."
We distributed drinking water containers in Caucagüita, circuit 4 of
Miranda state, with the structure of Popular Will in Sucre
municipality led by Lord Acuña, in support of the candidacy of Gilber
Caro to the National Assembly. We assisted the parish team of Popular
will in La Lira at Dolorita during a full day of cleanup and recovery
of sports field and water supply by tanker to needy families. In
Guatire we visited residents of El Milagro, where extreme poverty
forces us to generate behaviors to transform it into wealth. We also
journeyed to El Jabillo and Las Rosas neighborhoods. Welcome future
congressman Gilber Caro to the Capriles family! We shared with
candidates Adriana D'Elia, Rafael Guzmán and Gilber Caro in Guatire
while my cousin Henrique Capriles Radonski played basketball with
neighbors. We traveled on a water tank honoring natives of Aquarius!
Popular Will supports the list candidacy in Miranda of Julio Borges.
It is enough to be perceived as adversaries. We are Unity! In Guatire
neighborhood of Mucuchíes we walked alongside candidates Rafael Guzman
and Gilbert Caro. Juan Guaidó, our candidate for Vargas state, is one
of the best speakers in Popular Will. As a beach loving Caracas native
I'm always in touch with our beloved coast.
It?s fashionable for officialists to recognize they were wrong on some
things as they promise to rectify, so proud, so arrogant, and so
inept. What they must do is to go away and let others begin. They
repudiate right wing so much while Tarek William Saab became a
criminal wanted by Interpol. Jacqueline Farías became plugged by
narcotics money while considering tasty such queues that ordinary
citizens endure. It is also said that an election strategy is to fall
into jail for a presidential bid. First was Chávez, then Leopoldo
López, now Manuel Rosales. In the slums and hills of Greater Caracas I
hear that people living there who are looking forward to job
opportunities and enrichment. The socialist illusion vanishes. We will
not win votes if we make fun of our citizens and scrub their ignorance
back to them. Teaching means helping them learn but that job is poorly
paid. What is the opposition offering? During my visits to
neighborhoods I can only offer them key chains with flashlight. We
have no budget to provide washing machines and refrigerators which is
the usual strategy for officialism. I read and hear interesting
thoughts of those who seek to break away from officialism. It is time
to imagine our contribution regardless of our old-fashioned credulity.
The campaign should focus on lowest income areas; more affluent sites
are always saturated. The opposition needs to concentrate efforts on
all circuits. There are rural areas that we could support with
imported activists.
Some days were purely administrative, I had the opportunity to be
actively involved in planning and campaign agenda both at the national
headquarters of Popular Will in Los Palos Grandes and headquarters of
Venezuela Command in Bello Monte Hills. It is crucial to form teams
that are integrated in harmony. It seems that the opposition will win
the National Assembly. I'm not the only one from Tupamaro who is now a
Popular Will activist. We understand that the recent official line
corresponds to an electoral strategy, but upon completion of the
elections, supporters of officialism will have to concede many
aspirations in favor of friendly coexistence. Some argue that after
December 6th I?ll swing any alleged vote. In 2016 I will participate
in the structure of Popular Will at Sucre municipality, which is why
now I contribute to activities in the parishes of Caucagüita, Mariche
and Dolorita on the occasion of the campaign for the Fourth Circuit of
Miranda state.
A huge problem is that Venezuelans suffer exacerbated distrust among
us. Leafleting and visit is the work to continue doing. Each community
will add to greater organization and proposals for change. Within
political parties we are already discussing how to gain further ground
in the upcoming elections for governors, legislatures, and then mayors
and councilors. We act slowly but surely. Starting 2016 we?ll concur
to opposition primaries to choose candidates for the Democratic Unity
Roundtable to participate in future elections against the PSUV. To win
forcefully need more activism. It is essential to move away from
computers into supporting street work and fundraising. The collective
effort in favor of change so far looks insufficient. To those whom
it?s crucial that political parties comply with their instructions, we
suggest their conforming teams along with our current militancy and
demonstrate with facts that their objectives are sincere. We suffer
from excess chiefs and not enough Indians. We frown upon those who
proclaim disinterest in fulfilling the duties of militancy, as they
suddenly finger a supposed right to modify previously established
strategies in a democratic mode.
I haven?t interacted with Leopoldo López but I do know Lilian Tintori.
In social networks today she is requested to behave differently than
the dictates of her personality, under the threat that our party,
Popular Will, may lose militancy if we do not listen to those who
criticize her description of the obscene treatment she receives in
Ramo Verde military jail. I feel fortunate that most of my time is
spent in the street supporting real causes. But the few moments I have
to catch up with Internet threatens to generate me unnecessary hatred.
Maybe it's a blessing that this campaign is based on direct contact
while obviating the media. We need to activate our teams of vote
defense in each polling station. If we do not actively participate in
it, we?ll have no moral authority to complain about alleged fraud.
I was invited to attend Lilian?s tour and planned to travel to San
Felipe, Yaracuy state on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 6 am. However I
decided last minute to stay in Caracas to continue supporting the
activities of Miranda state circuit 4, because the idea of forming
popular networks is to mingle within the geographical scope of each
activist. I'm focused on helping form a harmonious team to help win
that specific circuit. I believe that my decision to have remained in
Caracas is an attempt to set foot on earth. If I had accompanied the
tour I would have neglected the work on the circuit which is my main
responsibility with the party base. I support and like both Freddy
Guevara and Lilian Tintori equally and I don?t want to be part of
unnecessary diatribes. On the streets there is evidence that a
minority supportive of the regime persists. I?m sorry I could not
accompany Lilian in Yaracuy. I will escort her today, Monday November
2, 2015 in Montalban, CC La Villa, 5 pm. We are waiting for you.

In a democratic government such as we seek to establish, madurism will
have the opportunity to participate politically as a new opposition.
Many underestimated Chuo Torrealba, who has shown an unusual ability
to refute provocations from the regime quite strongly and
diplomatically. Very comforting news is that the Potro Alvarez and
Blanca Eckhout walked alone and were booed in Guarenas. I kick that
circuit every day with candidate Gilbert Caro. A few days ago we had
to take extra security measures in Guarenas because last week we
received physical attacks by officialist groups. Now we must channel
discontent at Plaza municipality. It is very easy to criticize from
the comfort and radicalism at our keyboard. In an election campaign
candidates must visit the maximum possible of communities to seek
votes without wasting time by offering long explanations to those who
persist anyway in criticism for the sake of criticizing.

Fuimos casa por casa en Caricuao escuchando a los vecinos del cerro
Telares de Palo Grande junto a Stalin González, Ivlev Silva y Rafael
Veloz. En sectores del circuito 5 del Distrito Capital que fueron
oficialistas hoy nos piden a quienes conformamos la Unidad que
efectuemos todos los cambios que necesita el país. En representación
de Rafael Veloz fui casa por casa en Carapita con los vecinos de
Antímano, dispuestos a ganar la difícil parroquia contra todo
pronóstico. Visitamos una familia de La Vega con nuestra dirigente
parroquial Vilma Sosa, inyectando optimismo para incentivar el voto y
el activismo. Ningún esfuerzo es suficiente. En representación de
Rafael Veloz caminé al lado de Richard Blanco para promocionar nuestra
llave parlamentaria por las Casitas de la Vega. Richard Blanco
vaticinó: "En cada rincón de Las Casitas en La Vega se siente la
esperanza. Defenderán conmigo cada voto". Luego fuimos rumbo a
Macarao, como cada día sumando voluntades para que la ansiada derecha
gane y desaloje a la izquierda de su oprobioso poder. En
representación de Rafael Veloz caminé al lado de Richard Blanco,
Stalin González e Ivlev Silva para promocionar nuestra llave
parlamentaria por el Guanábano II en Macarao. Visité a cinco familias
en Carapita. Necesitamos apoyo de más activistas, la parroquia
Antímano es gigantesca y la receptividad es excelente. Todo estuvo
bien durante la juramentación del comando circuito 5 Dtto. Capital,
pero mientras tanto hubo represión política en Charallave, circuito 6
del estado Miranda.
Continué estableciendo contactos y volanteando en plaza Bolívar de
Antímano, calle Santa Ana de Carapita, y sector San José de Carapita.
Allí hay jóvenes que no se han inscrito en el registro electoral
permanente porque no les gusta el régimen y alegan que la oposición ni
los visita ni les ofrece nada mejor. Llegué a los Paraparos de la
Vega. Allí los opositores se sienten aislados y necesitamos apoyar su
inmediata organización. Acompañamos a Richard Blanco y comando
parroquial de la Mesa de la Unidad Democrática parroquial de Antímano
en la Cruz de San José de Carapita. Desmentimos categóricamente
autoría de sucesos violentos en la Guzmania. Compartimos desayuno con
vecinos de Mamera y a pesar de fallas en transporte logramos llegar a
casa por casa en carretera del Junquito. Estuvimos por los Cangilones,
Calle Zulia, calle Independencia y los Paraparos en La Vega visitando
a los vecinos y volanteando para la Mesa de la Unidad Democrática.
Recorrí toda la Cota 905 y los vecinos solicitan nuestra cooperación
para reparar la cancha de futbolito y baloncesto en las colinas del
Pinar. Nos ingeniaremos para atenderlos satisfactoriamente. En la cota
905 solicitan caminatas con los candidatos en lugar de casas por casa
o asambleas por razones de seguridad. Entregué volantes de Rafael
Veloz por UD2 y UD3. Muchos opositores con miedo, sin ánimos para
activismo. Muchos oficialistas resteados. ¡Fuerza Caricuao! Rafael
Veloz concluye: ?Se nota el temor que tiene la bancada oficialista
ante la cercanía de una mayoría democrática que exigirá rendición de
cuentas a todas las instancias dentro del Parlamento porque será
autónoma y soberana?.
Distribuimos botellones de agua potable en Caucagüita, circuito 4 de
estado Miranda, junto a la estructura de Voluntad Popular en municipio
Sucre liderada por Lord Acuña, en apoyo a la candidatura de Gilber
Caro para la Asamblea Nacional. Asistimos al equipo parroquial de
Voluntad Popular en La Lira de la Dolorita, durante jornada de
limpieza y recuperación de cancha deportiva y suministro de agua por
cisterna a familias necesitadas. En Guatire visitamos a vecinos de El
Milagro, donde la pobreza extrema nos obliga a generar conductas para
transformarla en riqueza. También recorrimos El Jabillo y las Rosas.
¡Bienvenido futuro diputado Gilber Caro a la familia Capriles!
Compartimos con los candidatos Adriana D'Elia, Rafael Guzmán y Gilber
Caro en Guatire mientras mi primo Henrique Capriles Radonski jugaba
baloncesto con los vecinos. Viajamos sobre una cisterna ¡haciendo
honor a los nativos de Acuario! Voluntad Popular apoya la candidatura
lista de Julio Borges en Miranda. Ya basta que nos perciban como
adversarios. ¡Somos Unidad! En el sector Mucuchíes de Guatire
caminamos junto a los candidatos Rafael Guzmán y Gilber Caro. Juan
Guaidó, nuestro candidato por el estado Vargas, es uno de los mejores
oradores en Voluntad Popular. Como caraqueño playero siempre estoy
pendiente de nuestro amado litoral.
Están de moda oficialistas reconociendo que hicieron algunas cosas mal
y prometen rectificar, tan soberbios, tan arrogantes y tan ineptos. Lo
que tienen que hacer es largarse y dejarnos a otros comenzar. Tanto
que repudian a la derecha mientras Tarek William Saab quedó como
delincuente buscado por la Interpol. Jacqueline Farías quedó como una
narcoenchufada quien considera sabrosas las colas que nos calamos los
demás. Dicen también que es una estrategia electoral caer preso para
ser presidenciable. Primero fue Hugo Chávez, luego Leopoldo López,
ahora Manuel Rosales. En los barrios y cerros de la gran Caracas
escucho que los ciudadanos que allí residen tienen ganas de tener
oportunidades de trabajo y enriquecimiento. La ilusión socialista se
desvanece. No ganaremos votos si nos burlamos de nuestros
conciudadanos y les restregamos su ignorancia. La docencia implica
ayudarlos a aprender pero ese oficio está mal remunerado. ¿Y qué está
ofreciendo la oposición? En mis visitas a los barrios sólo les puedo
ofrecer llaveros con linterna. No tenemos presupuesto para ofrecer
lavadoras ni neveras que es la estrategia usual del oficialismo. Leo y
escucho interesantes reflexiones de quienes se zafan del oficialismo.
Ya es hora de imaginar nuestro aporte prescindiendo de la credulidad
de antaño. La campaña debe concentrarse en sectores populares, en los
sitios de mayores ingresos estamos saturados. La oposición necesita
concentrar esfuerzos en todos los circuitos. Hay zonas rurales a las
que pudiésemos apoyar con activistas importados.
Algunos días han sido netamente administrativos, he tenido la
oportunidad de involucrarme activamente en planificación y agenda de
campañas electorales tanto en la sede nacional de Voluntad Popular en
Los Palos Grandes como en la sede del comando Venezuela en Colinas de
Bello Monte. Es crucial conformar equipos que se integren en armonía.
Todo parece indicar que la oposición ganará la Asamblea Nacional. No
soy el único tupamaro que ahora es activista en Voluntad Popular.
Comprendemos que el discurso oficialista reciente corresponde a una
estrategia electoral, pero una vez concluidas las elecciones, los
partidarios del como sea tendrán que resignarse a ceder muchas
aspiraciones a favor de la coexistencia amigable. Algunos elucubran
que después del 6 de diciembre saltaré alguna presunta talanquera. En
2016 participaré en la estructura de Voluntad Popular del municipio
Sucre, por ese motivo ahora contribuyo a actividades de calle en las
parroquias Caucagüita, Dolorita y Mariche en ocasión de la campaña por
el circuito 4 del estado Miranda.
Un enorme problema que padecemos los venezolanos es la exacerbada
desconfianza hacia nosotros mismos. Volantear y visitar es el trabajo
que seguiremos haciendo. Cada comunidad logrará mayor organización y
sumará a las propuestas de cambio. En el seno de los partidos
políticos ya estamos debatiendo cómo seguir ganado espacios en las
venideras elecciones para gobernaciones, asambleas legislativas, y
posteriormente alcaldías y concejalías. Actuamos sin prisa pero sin
pausa. A partir del 2016 concurriremos a primarias opositoras para
elegir candidatos de la Mesa de la Unidad Democrática que participarán
en futuros comicios contra el PSUV. Para ganar con contundencia
necesitamos más activismo. Es fundamental alejarnos de las
computadoras y apoyar el trabajo de calle y la recaudación de fondos.
El esfuerzo colectivo a favor de un cambio hasta ahora luce
insuficiente. A quienes resulta crucial que en los partidos políticos
acatemos sus instrucciones, les sugerimos que conformen equipo junto a
nuestra militancia actual y demuestren con hechos que sus objetivos
son sinceros. Padecemos de exceso de caciques y pocos indios. Es muy
mal visto que quienes proclaman desinterés en cumplir deberes de
militancia se adjudiquen súbitamente el derecho de modificar a dedo
estrategias previamente establecidas de modo democrático.
No he interactuado con Leopoldo López pero sí conozco a Lilian
Tintori. En las redes sociales hoy a ella le exigen que se comporte de
un modo diferente a lo que dicta su personalidad, bajo la amenaza que
nuestro partido Voluntad Popular perderá militancia si no le hacemos
caso a quienes critican su descripción del trato obsceno que recibe en
la cárcel militar de Ramo Verde. Me siento afortunado que la mayor
parte de mi tiempo transcurre en la calle apoyando causas reales. Pero
los pocos momentos que tengo para ponerme al día con internet amenazan
con generarme reconcomios innecesarios. Quizás es una bendición que
esta campaña se basa en el contacto directo y obvia los medios.
Necesitamos activar nuestros equipos de defensa del voto en cada
centro electoral. Si no participamos activamente en ello no tendremos
autoridad moral para quejarnos acerca de un presunto fraude.
Yo estaba invitado a asistir a la gira de Lilian y tenía previsto
viajar a San Felipe, estado Yaracuy el viernes 30 de octubre 2015 a
las 6 am. Sin embargo decidí a última hora permanecer en Caracas para
seguir apoyando las actividades del circuito 4 de Miranda, pues la
idea de conformar redes populares radica en trabajar dentro del ámbito
geográfico de cada activista. Estoy concentrado en ayudar a conformar
un equipo armonioso que ayude a ganar ese circuito específico.
Considero que mi decisión de haber permanecido en Caracas constituye
un intento de poner los pies sobre la tierra. Si hubiese acompañado
esa gira hubiese descuidado el trabajo en el circuito que es mi
responsabilidad principal con las bases del partido. Apoyo y quiero a
Freddy Guevara y a Lilian Tintori por igual y no deseo formar parte de
diatribas innecesarias. En las calles se evidencia que persiste una
minoría afecta al régimen. Lamento no haber podido acompañar a Lilian
en Yaracuy. Sí la acompañaré hoy lunes 2 de noviembre 2015 en
Montalbán, C. C. La Villa, 5:00 pm. Te esperamos. Favor difundir.
En un gobierno democrático como el que aspiramos instaurar, el
madurismo tendrá oportunidad de participar políticamente como una
nueva oposición. Muchos subestimaron a Chuo Torrealba, quien ha
demostrado una habilidad inusual de refutar las provocaciones del
régimen de modo contundente y diplomático. Muy reconfortante noticia
que el Potro Álvarez y Blanca Eckhout caminaron solos y caceroleados
en Guarenas. Yo pateo ese circuito todos los días con el candidato
Gilber Caro. Hace pocos días tuvimos que extremar medidas de seguridad
en Guarenas pues la semana pasada hemos recibido ataques a nuestra
integridad física por parte de colectivos oficialistas. Ahora toca
canalizar el descontento del municipio Plaza. Es muy fácil criticar
desde la comodidad y radicalismo del teclado. En una campaña electoral
los candidatos deben visitar el máximo posible de comunidades para
buscar votos sin desperdiciar tiempo en ofrecer largas explicaciones a
quienes de todos modos persistirán en criticar por criticar.
