So many cable channels constantly beam out something that looks vaguely lik=
e "news," but nothing that ever resembles analysis - constantly replaying t=
he same footage, working on the principle that every viewer is "just tuning=

Issues deemed to not have sufficiently wide appeal are neglected. What litt=
le analysis is provided is usually thin, scaremongering or sensational. Cov=
erage of the most critical issues, like the Syrian refugee crisis, is domin=
ated by those with hateful and intolerant views.
