The 7.2 syslogd will dump core when it tries to broadcast a message to
all logged in users ("!*" in the config file).
The fix is revision 1.11 of /mit/zephyr/src/clients/syslogd/syslogd.c
This affects VAX and RT, but probably not mips (syslog was writing
into a read-only string).
