missing from Truthout recently. In fact, it's something that's always been=
absent throughout Truthout's history. Our coverage lacks one element that =
almost all other news websites have: ads.=20
It's so common that most people are immune to it. But we find it offensive =
to see ads for things that are part of the problem - like fossil fuel compa=
nies and other big corporations - running alongside articles that claim to =
be part of the solution. It is the worst kind of issue exploitation and som=
ething we proudly stand against.=20
We are only able to take this stand and publish articles without ads becaus=
e of the support you've given us in the past. Truthout exists because of re=
aders like you - and that's an incredible thing.=20
But the reality is that our work depends almost entirely on donations from =
readers and we need your continued support. Please, make an investment in a=
