ty, globally and in the United States. But this isn't enough for the riches=
t and most powerful fraction of the world's elites.
They want EVERYTHING for themselves.
Thanks to the US Supreme Court's "Citizens United" and "McCutcheon" decisio=
ns, there are now even fewer restrictions on how much money the super-rich =
can give to political candidates and committees to influence American elect=
ions. Meanwhile, all across the world, powerful transnational corporations =
continue to try to expand and tighten their grip on the planet's resources =
and population. (Many countries' governments are more than happy to help th=
at process along with trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership.)
Here's the good news: It's also true that all across the United States and =
the world, more and more people are aware just how unequal things are, and =
are willing to do something about it.
