t r u t h o u t | In the short time since I joined the team at Truthout, I've learned some remarkable things.
Nine million people visited Truthout in the last year and our Facebook page is quickly approaching half a million fans. In March we had 872,811 returning visitors.
That's an amazing number of regular visitors. If every one of you were to give $5 right now, we would be able to keep Truthout going and realize our growth goals for the next two years.
Truthout's scope and depth of work rivals any other news site. In the past week we've published articles on the fear of toxic chemical contamination in a California suburb, efforts to bring justice to those responsible for the catastrophe in Iraq, evidence of GOP interference in a Tennessee union election, and the business interests behind America's costly health care.
