's that mainstream media has newsmaking upside down. You see it in their sk=
ewed priorities and their devotion to their fellow corporations - but also =
in the extremely narrow range of viewpoints being offered. How can so few p=
eople claim to know so much about so many issues?
At as part of the impactful investigative reporting and challenging analysi=
s we publish daily, Truthout believes in giving a voice to the people whose=
experiences and hard-won expertise are usually ignored. But don't take our=
word for it. As journalist, photographer, author and frequent Truthout con=
tributor David Bacon says:
"Truthout has always had a commitment to covering the lives of working peop=
le, of immigrants, people of color and the labor movement, often a greater =
one than other progressive media. In a media world in which their voices ar=
