Since we announced that award-winning reporter Dahr Jamail has joined the T=
ruthout team, we've been inundated with messages of congratulations and sup=
port. We wanted to share just one of these messages, from a reader named Su=
zy:
"Congratulations on signing up Dahr Jamail as a full-time staff reporter fo=
r Truthout. His reports from Iraq were not only factually trustworthy but d=
own to earth and clear. Not beholden to corporations, you can count on him =
for telling the truth; but best of all, he has heart."
Heart is a quality that's hard to describe, but you know it when you see it=
